The Erika 8 apartment is situated in a residential complex by the Is Molas Golf, with its 27 hole course spread out over ten kilometres of terrain.
The Is Molas Golf Club, (dati tecnici) which opened in 1975 was created from a project by Piero Mancinelli and was built according to the creativity and fantasy of Henry Cotton and Pennink & Partners architect studios, and expanded to include another 9 holes thanks to the work of Franco Piras, a representative from Gary Player Design, you could not wish for more in a golf course. It is one of the most fascinating and technical courses in the Mediterranean and it has hosted four editions of the International Italian Open. Some of the worlds best golfers have played these greens. Including Bernard Langer, Mark James, Sam Torrente, Ian Woosnam, Costantino Rocca and Baldovino Dassù, without forgetting Vijai Singh, who claimed victory right here at Is Molas in 1989 during the Volvo Open.
The special qualities of the course are its surroundings, the high technical content of the holes that gently descend downhill towards the sea and the wind that often makes the trajectory of shots more complicated. You will be immersed in your favourite sport, concentration and relaxation will mix together during this great holiday, and if this is not enough, just a few hours drive away are other splendid Sardinian golf courses, each one surrounded by the wonderful scenery the island offers.
